Knobs

Description:
For the potentiometers and rotary controls, I use custom 3D-printed knobs printed in multiple colors. The ribbed design ensures a secure and comfortable grip. The potentiometer knobs feature a raised indicator that clearly shows the current setting at a glance. For rotary encoders, such an indicator is not required.

Below you’ll find an overview of the available knob designs. They can be downloaded both as Fusion 360 source files (.f3d) and as STL files. The STL files are ready for slicing into G-code for high-quality 3D printing.

Detail:
The interior is wider at the base to provide sufficient clearance for the potentiometer or rotary encoder mounting nut.

The inner cavity gradually tapers toward the top, allowing the knob to be 3D printed without the need for support material. The top interior surface is not flat but features a smooth hemispherical shape, further optimizing it for clean, support-free printing.
