Welcome

On this site you find several items, which I developed. Because I had a lot of fun in creating them I thought about sharing them. That is why this site exists.

What you find on this site:

Laser Engraving and Laser Cutting:
Box Tool This tool creates the drawings of the sides of a box . The files are generated in a vector format, which is recognized by laser cutting machines as paths to cut. Typically, if you find such drawings on the internet, then you cannot scale them to another size of the box, since the material thickness is a factor which you don't want to scale. Thus to create any size, one would need software to create these drawings. The tools I found on the internet were not to my liking, due to various reasons. For instance the 'fingers' or 'joints' are not nicely aligned, or I had a different idea about what a lid of a box is.

PencilBox Tool A pencilbox is the 'old-school' type of box to store pencils in, or candy....
The size of this pencil box is configurable, as some other items.

3d Print:
Clock
This is a combination of 3d printing and electronics. The basic function is a clock and a kitchen timer, however it also contains stopwatch functionality.

The available build-manual describes each step. The available hardware is available via webshops, the software is part of the ZIP package, which also includes the STL files for the case. The clock is capable of displaying text, you can customize it to show a birthday message, or whatever you like. Have fun in building it. I made more than 10 of them and gave them away.
You can also use it as a base, to add a 'speach' module or you own alarm sounds, or whatever you like.

Plotter This is a conbination of 3d printing and electronics. The available build-manual describes each step. For this project you also need Python and Visual Studio (all free). The goal was to find out if it is possible to create such a plotter from 3d printed components and if this is accurate enought. I think it works fine. The plotter I first created is size A0, later I scaled it down to A3 format (easier to handle). Meaning you can create either a big one or a small one.
